4 Cups Fresh Lemon Juice
12 Cups Water
4 Cups Sugar
1 Pint Strawberry Puree
5 Cups Moonshine (Or Everclear, 190 proof)
Yields 6 quarts and 1 pint.
Over low heat, mix water and sugar until dissolved. Cool to room temp. Add lemon juice, strawberry purée and Moonshine (Everclear). Mix Well. Drain pulp. Jar it. (Half Pints work best, but not necessary.) Let mixture sit for at least 1 week in the refrigerator (2 weeks if possible). Alcohol content may be adjusted to taste.
