As a young lady, my Father "Paul" would travel to New York for the "Fancy Food" show and always return with some sort of fancy foods to try or be inspired by. I do love the word "fancy" and it does not always mean that it needs to be expensive but rather "high quality" which can also mean simple. Like this simple baked ratatouille which is easy to do and your family and guests will rave about the fancy-schmancy dish which you can bake in a cast iron skillet and serve. I found this one from Foodish which sounds rather lavish. Have you noticed how adding "ish" to a word seems to automatically give it a swish!
