Summer is all about firing up the grill, and keeping the kitchen cool. We love to set up a fun Summer shish kabob station which makes it simple to create your own meal right on a bamboo stick. Simply prepare bowls of washed, chopped veggies and dishes of cubed meat, shrimp or chicken and one can make their own skewer. For dessert, the same thing can be created using cut up fruit and bamboo skewers. Our Dad, Paul, loved to create fruit shish kabobs for the Family Reunion. Although it has been a number of years since the last reunion, the memory lives of enjoying shish kabobs.
